Anti-Oxidative Effect of Weak Alkaline Reduced Water in RAW 264.7 Murine Macrophage Cells

چکیده

Excessive oxidative stress (OS) is a common cause of various diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and obesity; thus, an anti-oxidative solution essential for the improvement human health. Increasing evidence suggests that alkaline reduced water (ARW), especially between pH 9.5–10.0, has antioxidant capacity; however, relatively few studies have reported effect weak ARW at 8.5 on OS, in vitro. This study was conducted to evaluate efficacy with negative oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) high hydrogen (H2) concentration, compared tap (TW) 9.5. RAW 264.7 murine macrophage cells, stimulated by peroxide (H2O2) lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induce were used control (Con) then treated TW (ARW_8.5) 9.5 (ARW_9.5) different concentrations (0.1%, 1%, 10% v/v). Results showed cell viability significantly restored after treatment both ARW_8.5 ARW_9.5 Con/H2O2 Con/LPS, while did not significant changes. Levels reactive oxygen species (ROS), nitric oxide (NO), Ca2+, catalase, glutathione (GPx) differences concentration-dependent manner groups Con/LPS groups. Likewise, expression p-p38, p-JNK, p-ERK also ARW-treated groups, but group. In conclusion, exhibited effects through regulation MAPK signaling pathway indicating health-promoting daily intake.

Anti-diabetic effect of alkaline-reduced water on OLETF rats.

Alkalin-reduced water (ARW) is known to exert several anti-cancer effects, as well as to scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reduce blood-glucose levels. This study was performed in order to determine the effects of ARW on the control of spontaneous diabetes in Otsuka Long-Evans Tokushima Fatty (OLETF) rats. We assigned 16 male OLETF rats (4 wk) to two groups: an experimental group, whic...

Information Wave of P53 Amplified Anti-Cancer Effect of Alkaline Reduced Water

It was revealed that every matter has its accompanying wave. The wave part of the matter contains information(called information wave in the paper), and can be transferred to water physically by shaking or tapping, and thus serially diluted water have been used to stimulate natural healing power in traditional homeopathy. This way of transferring the wave part of the mater to water has been alr...

Anti-inflammatory effect of the water fraction from hawthorn fruit on LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells

The hawthorn fruit (Crataegus pinnatifida Bunge var. typica Schneider) is used as a traditional medicine in Korea. The objective of this study was to understand the mechanisms of the anti-inflammatory effects of the water fractionated portion of hawthorn fruit on a lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 cellular model. The level of nitric oxide (NO) production in the water fraction and L...

Role of Rotavirus Enterotoxin NSP4 in the Inflammatory Response in Murine Macrophage RAW 264.7 Cells

The rotavirus nonstructural glycoprotein, NSP4, has been identified as the first viral enterotoxin capable of inducing diarrhea. To investigate the biological function of NSP4 in the inflammatory process, a cDNA from human rotavirus (Wa strain) RNA segment 10 was amplified by RT-PCR, cloned into TA vector, and subsequently subcloned into pET23b expression plasmid. The expression of NSP4 protein...
